hi !

I've just bought "Hot door" CADpatterns ! 134 patterns including ANSI
hatch patterns I was looking for.

These patterns are not B&W ones but "transparent & black"

I would like opaque patterns

how can I make all patterns become opaque ?

adit each one and use cliping masks, transparency masks ? I'm not
familiar enough with these manipulations.

could you help me ?

thx

Eric

Drag the pattern out of the Swatches window, remove the transparency
value(s), drag it back into the Swatches window (rename if you like). If it
has a defining rectangle, you can make only that rectangle opaque.

Also works the other way around, for opaque patterns that you want to become
transparent.

Yes, I'm using Illustrator CS2 on Mac OSX !

No, I can't assign a color to an object filled with those transparent
patterns. If I do so, the pattern is replace by the color !

thx for trying !
