it depends on how detailed the artwork is....the simplest way is to scan the artwork and bring your tiff file into Illy and trace
it. This will probably take you some time.
Another way, not sure if 5.5 does this....is to magic wand your various color groups in the artwork and export the paths to
Illustrator as separate files. depending on how complex the art is determines if this a reasonable approach.
"rumor' has it that the upcoming version of Illy will have a more robust trace feature as an upgrade from Streamline.
So, does your company spend $500-$1000 for your wages outlining the artwork? Will they spend the $200 to upgrade to Illy 11 when it
comes out soon? Or, is Streamline a reasonable buy at $99?
