No, there isn't. And Illustrator requires you to have the fonts
installed to use the file; just having them embedded in a PDF or EPS
file isn't enough.

Either that, or get you the fonts. Illustrator can read font files in
either platform format on either platform, so there shouldn't be a
problem.
