Would it be possible to generate a clean 4 foot high by 40 foot wide banner from an illustrator
file? I am working with a local sign company...I want them to use my artwork but they are not sure
that I can take my 1 inch by 10 in piece of artwork and generate a canvase to my required banner
dimensions.

Any scoop?

TIA

I am always glad to practice the US measurements
again.........so 4 foot is 48 inches right? That means you
have to blow it up 4800%, result: 48 x 480 inch = 4 x 40
foot.......1.22m x 12.22 m.....woow.............is it an
advertizement for "hottentottententententoonstelling"? Smile

OK that established:), since it is an Illustrator vector
file, as long as the printer can deal with that size I do
not see a problem? You might consider to take it to the edge
and make a 20 x 200 inch file to convince them, that would
leave them a 240% blow up.
But whether that is necesseary.......

By the way dear Idiot......I am curious how you get these
kind of assignments, I still have a lot of problems in
Tucson........if desired you can mail me off group, leave
the last "s" out of steggemans before the @ if you do not
want to be suffocated in my spammed mailbox..........
