I have recently designed a CV for my girlfriend using Illustrator and It is
made up of several pages but each one of these is a seperate document.

Is there anyway of bringing all these together under one document and saving
them as a PDF so that she can email them out?

Cheers in advance

Rob

Wrong software to start with: A CV in Illustrator........I
do not think that was in the heads of the people who created
that software:)

But OK. If you have or buy the complete Adobe Acrobat you
can do it. You can add pages and delete them and much more.

You could also try and place them in a Page Lay out program
like Pagemaker/Indesign and then convert that document again
to PDF.

Or try MS Word..........but I have no high hopes on that.

Either output straight from Illustrator as PDF's (version 9 might do this, 10
certainly does) or save as EPS's and then use Distiller to create the PDF's from
these. Once the PDF's are made, you can open one in Acrobat and "Insert Page";
which will then open another PDF for insertion before or after the current
pages. Save the editable version with all pages, then set permissions for "Not
Changing", etc... and save that "Secured" version for mailing out. You might
also consider setting up a page action in Acrobat that automatically resizes the
document to the application window size when it is opened....

save as *.eps and drop the *.eps in your acrobat distiller.
