Color fidelity is unfortunately still rather difficult. Having reds
print out as brownish colors is rather common on desktop printers. Try
creating a CMYK document and creating a square that is 100% Magenta and
100% Yellow. This should be as red as your printer can do. Also check
for printer options in your print dialog box; there may be some
different settings you can try (look for something like "vivid color" or
"presentation color"). But don't be too surprised if choosing them
makes your other colors shift away from where you want them.
