Bold letters in eps and pdf files

Hello All,

I was working on some business cards and letterhead today (on a Mac) and
after saving in .ai format, also saved them in pdf and eps formats (I'm not
sure which one my printer asked for...) Once all the docs were saved, I
burned them and looked at the pdf's on a pc to make sure they looked okay.
Every pdf had an issue with lower case l's (that is lower case L's.) Every
one of them were bold. When I save to the pdf's and eps's on the Mac, I
looked at them and they appear fine, though I'm not sure I didn't just
quickly scan them and miss the problem. I popped the cd out of the pc and
put it back into the Mac. The l's now looked bold on this machine too. The
eps files that are on the Mac look okay, but the pdf files on the Mac HD are
bold too. What is the story with this? Am I doing something wrong when I'm
saving these files?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
